The XOSS Vortex Cycling Sensor offers two modes: Speed and Cadence. Users can choose the mode that best suits their needs, with 99% accuracy and 1-second sensitivity. The sensor is compatible with ANT+ and Bluetooth protocols, allowing it to work with a variety of bike computers, including XOSS G+, Garmin, and Bryton.

To connect the Vortex with the XOSS G+ bike computer, users need to long-press the left and right buttons to search for the sensors, which must be moved during the process. Once connected, users can upload their cadence or speed data to the XOSS app and synchronize it with Strava.

The XOSS app also allows users to switch between the Speed and Cadence modes quickly. To get both speed and cadence data, two sensors need to be installed, as only one mode can be active at a time.

For Cadence mode, the Vortex should be placed on the left crank using the rubber band and mat. For Speed mode, it should be fixed on the wheel axle. The Vortex features an ECO-smart design that automatically switches between work and sleep modes, conserving battery life.
