The ELEMNT BOLT's on-device turn-by-turn navigation feature automatically generates prompts for various route types, including GPX files, TCX files, and routes imported from Strava, Ride With GPS, and Komoot. The top LEDs and audible cues provide at-a-glance information about your next turn or if you've strayed off course.

The "Take Me To" function, which includes global maps, allows you to create a route with turn-by-turn directions by selecting a location directly on the ELEMNT BOLT map page, using its pan and zoom, or by selecting from one of your saved locations. Alternatively, you can enter a destination, address, or point of interest in the ELEMNT Companion App and generate a route with turn-by-turn directions, which can then be synced to the ELEMNT BOLT via Bluetooth.

When paired with an ANT+ Rearview radar, the ELEMNT BOLT displays the real-time proximity of vehicles approaching from behind, with LED indications to alert you of cars or a clear channel.

The ELEMNT BOLT is fully integrated with TrainerRoad, TrainingPeaks, and Today's Plan, allowing you to quickly find training plans and execute structured workouts that can be ridden outdoors or indoors on any Wahoo Smart Trainer. Your workout data is automatically sent back to the apps, making it easy to set, track, and achieve your performance goals.

The device's automatic route downloads and workout uploads feature ensures that your saved routes are automatically and wirelessly downloaded to the ELEMNT BOLT when synced with compatible accounts, such as Strava, Ride With GPS, Best Bike Split, Komoot, MTB Project, and SingleTracks. Completed rides will also automatically upload to these third-party accounts.

The ELEMNT BOLT provides on-screen pop-up alerts and LED indications to notify you of calls, texts, emails, and messages from various messaging apps when riding with your smartphone. The "Live Tracking" feature allows you to share a link for that day or indefinitely when riding with your smartphone.

When Strava is authenticated in the ELEMNT Companion App, the ELEMNT BOLT will alert you when your saved Strava Segments are approaching on your route, providing real-time progress as you race for the KOM/QOM.

The Custom Alerts feature allows you to configure the ELEMNT BOLT to display reminders and motivational messages based on workout time, distance, or calories burned intervals through the ELEMNT Companion App. You can also create virtual Points of Interest by setting distance-based reminders to alert you about particular locations on your route.
